The Director of Business Development will come with a proven track record of achievement, specifically with experience in the Creative Staffing Industry. It is a varied role in which you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Business Development Professionals, work with the Managing Director to establish goals and strategies that are in line with Onward Search’s future goals and be actively involved in the sales and business development function to assure the expansion and leveraging of current strategic accounts is handled effectively. - Locate new business opportunities by communicating and visiting with prospects and clients
- Manage existing accounts to scale current business
- Lead generation, using your sophisticated understanding of social media and various online technologies, to identify key prospects
- Grow top line and manage the sales strategy for the market
- Work closely with the Managing Director in overseeing the sales team
- Deliver the highest level of quality customer care and service
- 4+ years of staffing experience, specifically business development
- Experience in Creative, Interactive or Digital Media staffing is a must
- Previous management experience is preferred
- Strong sales closing abilities
- Professional and articulate with very strong interpersonal skills
- Can show a well-documented track record of success in the staffing industry
- Bachelor’s Degree
